Yosemite National Park
I have a long and rich family history in Yosemite National Park. My Great-Grandparents honeymooned at the Mountainhouse Lodge and my parents courted in the park and honeymooned at the Glacier Point a Lodge (same hotel, different name, long since burned down). My dad worked in the park in the 50's building roads in the Mariposa Grove, building campgrounds in the Wawona area and fighting fires in the Hetch Hetchy area. I was a toddler but witnessed one of the last Fire Fallsa and have many many awesome memories of going to Yosemite as a child. My love of the park has only grown as an adult.
